Terms of Service
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Amadeus mobile application ("the App") and the Amadeus website and web-based services ("the Website"), collectively referred to as "the Service," operated by Amadeus LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing the Website or downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service, including:
- The Amadeus mobile app on devices you own or control
- The Amadeus website via supported web browsers
This license is subject to:
- These Terms, and
- The Apple App Store Terms of Service (when using the iOS App)
You may not:
- copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content,
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the source code,
- use the App in any unlawful or unauthorized manner,
- interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service,
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service,
- use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission,
- transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
Intellectual Property
All content, code, software, graphics, and materials available through the Service are owned by or licensed to Amadeus LLC.
You may not use our intellectual property except as explicitly permitted by these Terms.
Accounts & Data
If the App allows you to create an account, you agree that the information you provide will be accurate, current, and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Handling of any personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Subscription / Membership
The Service offers an optional membership plan at USD $4.99 per month.
- Payments made via the iOS App are processed through the Apple App Store.
- Payments made via the Website are processed through RevenueCat, which uses third-party payment processors (such as Stripe or Paddle) to handle the actual payment transactions.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before billing.
- You may manage your subscription through your Apple ID (for iOS subscriptions) or through the RevenueCat customer portal (for web subscriptions), depending on where you subscribed.
- We reserve the right to change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect your current subscription period but will apply to subsequent renewals.
Refunds for App Store subscriptions follow Apple's policies.
Refunds for web subscriptions are handled by RevenueCat and its payment processors in accordance with their respective policies.
In-App & Web Purchases
We do not access or store payment card information. All payments are handled by Apple (for iOS) or RevenueCat and its payment processors (for web). RevenueCat manages the purchase logic and subscription lifecycle, while third-party payment processors handle the actual payment transactions.
Disclaimer of Warranty
The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, with no guarantees that:
- it will function without interruptions or errors,
- the content is accurate or reliable,
- data will be preserved without loss.
Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Amadeus LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:
- your use of the Service,
- your violation of these Terms,
- your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights,
- any User Content you upload or transmit through the Service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amadeus LLC is not liable for:
- indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages,
- loss of profits, revenue, data, or use,
- data loss, loss of revenue, or device issues related to the use of the Service,
- any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.
Third-Party Services
Parts of the Service may rely on:
- authentication providers
- hosting or infrastructure platforms
- App Store (for iOS payments)
- RevenueCat and its payment processors (for web payments)
- other third-party APIs
Use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in any fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. We may delete your account and User Content, though we are not obligated to do so.
You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account or ceasing to use the Service. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, disclaimers, and limitation of liability.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect changes in our practices, the Service, or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons.
We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. For significant changes, we may provide additional notice via email or through the Service.
Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
